    You can do that... but i'd suggest to wait for ur first cheque. If you have have recieved cheque earlier on same address then you can go ahead..
    IF not then there might be some problem....

    Still waiting for mine , check issed on 7 Dec.Last two checks arrived within three weeks period.

    Yes you can withdraw.Before that make sure you are not crossing your limit of withdrawal.I guess it is $500/Pm for unvarified and $2500/Pm for verified a/c.

    So you didn't withdraw more than 100$, that would be around 4700 Indian rupees, you need to add a lot of your money besides this one to get a laptop :p I suggest buying a LCD monitor with that if you already don't have one, that would replace the most horrible part of a PC.. the CRT! ;)

    There is only monthly withdrawal limit $2500 for verified paypal members (indian).

    From Gujarat here also.

    I have been recieving cheques perfectly till now. Only this time I have withdrawn on 6th december and am still waiting. :(

    Yestersday also I was not able to sleep properly. I am getting frustrated this time as the amount is a bit larger.

    And according to you. You have got your cheque. So today someone at post office is going to answer some questions here. I am already fed up of this post office people. :mad:

    Two other friends of mine has also withdrawn cheques in november ending and december starting. They haven't recieved it yet. I will start a thread if I recieve it in gujarat. And same thing can be done by others also from gujarat if they recieve it.

    YEah. Cheques are not registered mail, thats the biggest problem...

    i have recieved ma first cheque , not sure if i ll recieve second one on time..:confused: ...
