May I suggest a new subcategory called something like Page Rank/Back Link Updates – that might fix the problem.
As of now there are 6 threads related to page rank alone on the first page of the Google forum.
It’s getting harder and harder to find something interesting to read on the Google forum when it comes close to an update – quite annoying! :(

No I think you misunderstood. This value is assigned to .edu domains not any domain with education content.

Everytime I read a post of yours it makes me sick their are actually still ignorant people passing around nonesense like you do. If your unbiased you certainly do little research because most of your info is totally false and has been proven so years ago. Taking Matt Cutts advice over a unbiased fellow SEO who happens to be well respected is very stupid.
Do a little research and I think your eyes will be opened.

Based only on my opinion? No wait that is what yours is. Aaron Wall and many other respected seo stand by my opinion which is not an opinion but fact from research. Believe me Aaron does not make posts on something he is unsure about. Please get your facts straight. Most of all my comments are shared by many respected seo. I can't help it if you are part of a minority that don't share that. I also don't much care. I am providing this info because it is fact.

I think all Noobies should be pointed at this sticky and get them stuck there before they get unstuck and ask the same questions again!

Learned a lot from DP so far and this is great!

Theres a PR chaser for you. I am sure Seobook once had a PR2 as well
Ohh and did I mention that it produces loads more traffic than my PR6 site? PR is useless. but then old fashioned people like yourself still believe in that stuff or should I say take a long time to adapt. What do they call that??? ...ohh yeah the theory of evolution.

Try not to be a total dolt about this, visio. I was responding to a tongue-in-cheek question about how to increase PR. My answer, also tongue-in-cheek, was in answer to that specific question - i.e., get links from other relevant sites with decent PR - not about traffic or even the relative importance of PR to rankings.

At least TRY to keep up with the thread...
