Like the title says I am looking for other great SEO forums that gets lots of traffic and are worth the time vested in reading and posting.

I like DP alot and the fact it lets you have a signature without Nofollow.

The other SEO forums I follow are (none as good as DP however):

    search guild,
    seo guy,
    webmaster talk,
    web workshop,
    seo refugee,
    submit xpress,
    high rankings,
    v7n,
    iwebtool,
    sitepoint

Thanks for any input you might have!

Interesting post, but apart of VN7, I prefer to stick to Digital Point in SEO matters ;)

web workshop was the other one I honestly watch every day. the others just arnt even close to the quality of posts I find on here.

I would also add webmasterworld to that list but it costs per /yr. Worth it for me but not everyone has $ to dish out for forum watching.

    any others worth reading?

Well I am an SEO Forum Reporter of sorts. I collect WORTHWHILE posts from various SEO boards and aggregate them so my readers can get past the Static to the Signal

I am a member and participant at

    DP
    SEO Chat
    Web Workshop
    Search Engine Watch
    Search Engine Roundtable
    Webmaster World
    High Rankings
    I Help You
    Threadwatch
    Syndk8

    ... and others.

I spend more time than 90% of people on SEO boards because it is part of what I do... want a GREAT example of why WWS is better than say... HERE?? Some stoopid little Fishhead (gotta know yer BH terminology for that one folks) here at DP gave me 'bad rep' because I posted WWS and the comment was 'it's for rejects'

I wouldn't EVER run into this at WWS.. plain and simple. More professional... NOT FISHING CHILDISH

I stand by my comment and for the little chicken shit that made that comment? Next time try it in public..pull out your SEO D_ck and swing it at me... we can then decide who the Pro is.. keep your gutlesss, childish CRAP to yourself...

Wow.. do you have time to follow through all the forums?

I only read Google webmaster blog and DP's SEO discussion for the subject matter :)

Not really. Mainly just watch this one and webmasterworld. Wouldnt mind finding a couple other good ones however.

Consensus seems that DP, webmasterworld, web workshop.net and SEO Chat are the top ones.

Any others that I am missing?

I can live with that list... Only problem with WW is that folks can't post links which can help when trying to assist people

Also.. syndk8 since professional SEOs should at least have a minor education in Black Hat... it's educational and you never know whom you may run up against in the SERPs...

ahh yes. not being able to post links. it kills me so many times when I want to know what the person is talking about or vice versa I want them to know what im talking about.

However it does facilitate "promotionless" "theoretical" seo conversations.

Ill have to check out syndk8. Not much into black hat but it is always good to know both sides of the coin.

Yup - the no links can stifle some conversations....

As for the BH, like I said, just good to have a complete SEO education. It's not illegal, so think of it as Search Engine Oportunist = SEO ha ha ha ha ha

A person that studies locksmithing COULD break into a lot of things.. it is what he does morally with his knowledge that makes the difference

So learning ALL aspects of SEO should not make one nervous... ya know what I mean?

I post in about 5-6 forums and they have all been mentioned already in this thread, so I would say you have it covered. :D

I read a variety of forums, but participate in a precious few. There's simply not enough hours in the day.

As a mod at WWS my opinion is, well biased. But biased for the right reasons. There's quite a core of exceptionally knowledgable experts who come out to play on a regular basis. Perhaps follow a few of the posts of thegypsy himself and you'll see precisely what I mean.

The no link thing, unfortunately, does hinder some of the discussions but in the long run frees up far more time for reading, learning, and participation.

I do like DP and it's one of the "precious few" where I participate. Only for lack of time am I not here more often.

I also tend to agree with your list manageyourlinks.
