    In my case the site in question had 1 single datacenter with the old value lingering. Now it has multiple, but if it's a rollback or an update is impossible to say.

    Yes, exactly. Multiple datacenters are showing old values, not just 1 or 2.
    So maybe this isn't the "big one" but something happened here, and could be the start of something bigger coming soon which we all expect.

    The update from two updates ago never really settled. This could just another datacenter adjustment from that one. Who knows?

    I see nothing on my sites either.

    seriously, this is not an update. Probably i'll give you a link to my site which is 4 month old and has 40,000 backlink. When this one sees a change, you know then pr update is in place:) It had 18 backlinks out of the 40k cached from last update with a pr0. When you see one of the datacenters showing a pr, you know it can't be a coincidence.

    I've seen my site jump from its current 5, down to 4, back to 5, down to 4 and back to 5 again. Theres definately some flux going on... my backlinks have also dropped from 81 to 31ish... everything is starting to sync for the early to mid Jan update me thinks... lets hope i make it to PR6!
