how do I get good google traffic?

Hi, I have a new site about a month old. I'm in google and get 100 keywords traffic lately up to 1000 one day. How do I get steady google traffic?
I only have 150 pages in google.

Just keep anding pages and try and get about 1000 pages index and hope for long trail traffic? what do you guys do and how much google traffic you getting?

More pages index will help bring more traffic, also you can build up ranking by building up your links from other sites to your site.

 

also I have 10,000 backlinks which helped me get indexed fast. I just don't get much for traffic. I would hate to waste a month or more adding pages daily and not show any results for it. So seeing what kind of results I could get.

 

It does take a bit to get indexed, is your site in a very competitive field?

 

A month old site with 10,000 backlinks is a little extreme! How did you get that many? How many BL is google showing?

Just keep doing whatever your doing to attract that many links.. 100-1000 people per day is very good after one month of having a site online.. just keep at it.. within a few months I bet your doing more then 1k every day.

Well it shows 10,000 backlinks with yahoo explorer. Not sure if that is perfectly accurate.
total traffic I get around 400-1000 visits. only like 100-300 from google daily. I had one day I got 1500 visits and 1000 of that was google . I did ok that day from adsense.

 

Again for one month your doing well, I would keep doing whatever your doing like i said before. I expect a lot of those links are sitewides or trackbacks perhaps otherwise thats just a lot of links. Try getting some real links if this is the case and also work on getting deep links to some of your articles. Continue improving the content, once every few days isn't bad at all. As long as you keep improving it though google will notice and give you improved rank especially for some of those non competitive long-tail terms.

Have you done keyword research?

Keyword Research should show you what to name some of your pages.. This way hopefully you can hit some of those really big keyword phrases.

 

100-300 from google is quite good for a site which is a month old.

A high pagerank is a must to get more traffic from google. Try to get some backlinks from high PR sites like PR5 and above.

PR doesn't tend to matter to much.. get links from authoritative sites on the same topic as your site and they will be worth a lot more then their PR.

How can I do keyword research? I have only researched it on wordtracker the free tool to estimate traffic.

Well thats why your getting so many links, still 10k is good. I'd work on doing some things to get some quality links to internal pages, perhaps you can do this by going to forums etc. and mentioning your site on 'accident'. You can also blog about somebody else's blog on the same topic and hope for a link back. Either trackback the email or mention it to them.. Good webmasters tend to check their backlinks anyhow so they'll likely notice it and come to your site.

As for keyword research I used to use the one at seobook http://tools.seobook.com/ but its not working for me anymore

you must build high quality and unique content after that you should build valuable and relavant backlinks to your site.

actually, If one has 500 uniques and 10,000 backlinks after 1st month, he would probably have 5000 uniques after six month. Congratulations, your website is doing nice .
