What's the total number of Adsense users in the world?

    Does anybody have an indication about the total number of Adsense users in the USA and the rest of the world?

    I'm not talking about the # of sites that use Adsense, just the approximate # of user accounts.

    Google has certainly not released any number but maybe someone has tried to guess it by running a web spider and then counting the number of "pub=xxx" [publisher reference number] in the scraped pages?

    I made a few searches but the results were not relevant.

    Id guess and say 474.893 and a half.


    On a serious note do they give you customer number/id? If its in chronological order you can make an educated guess... Il have a look.

    Of course these numbers are not released, but I'd be quite comfortable saying it's under 1 mil. Somewhere around 500k would be my guess.

    I don't think there's a way to know this. AdSense accounts may have been deactivated, double accounts may exist, etcetera. Only Google could have an indication.

    These numbers are kept under wraps. I don't htink releasing them would do nay harm but I am sure they are increasing quite substantially, especially with all those adsens promotion banners a lot of people have on their sites.

    Well, I might be wrong, but I guess
    that there are at least about 1.5 to
    2 Million publishers world wide.

    The numbers fluctuate all the time
    and most probably only 1/3rd of the
    publishers are making any money with
    it. So, probably many stop trying after
    a while, and new once sign up daily.

    It remains a guess for us

    From a recent Google's Financial Release:

    That's $780,000,000 / 3 = $260,000,000 per month.

    You can guess how many thousands of AdSense publishers there are, most of them small, many medium, some huge (for example, About.com's advertising revenues -with a good part from AdSense- were $7,280,000 in November).

    in my last check, in the OCASA paper, was written "page 789 of 8534" , so, I can say here in Brazil, there's only 8k adsense publishers, whose has reached 100$ . it's just a guess, I think there's over a milion people receiving at least 100$ every month from google ... and another ten milion waiting to reach one hundred dollars ...
