    It takes lots of time and effort! I think most the backlinks come from sitewide, signature, and footer links.

    No offense but this looks to me more like a list "Directories of my friends and the people who bought advertising at my directory list"

    There are a lot of good directories missing like
    Joeant
    Goguides
    Skaffe
    Wow directory
    Gimpsy etc
