Does YPN stay out of your business better than Adsense?

As we all know, Adsense can be very intrusive (banning people, sending threatening emails, holding back revenues, etc.). Would anyone here say that YPN is less intense?

I say that because I use both Adwords and YSM, and find that YSM is a cakewalk compared to Adwords. I'm thinking that Yahoo may in general be less concerned about slapping peoples' wrists than Google. yes? no?

Then it wouldn't be the YPN as we know it now.

I have been running adsense many years and never had any problem. It has always been smooth sailing 4 me.

I joined YPN last May and I got two warnings so far (small icons near the ads). I also check my email inbox several times a day just to stay up to date with YPN.

as long as you dont violate tos ypn will stay out of your business. that is until they determine that your visitors are not converting for their advertisers, then they will give you the boot.

YPN does not send automated responses, you get to talk to people.

    YPN > Google is true.

I think YPN is better than Google when it comes to warnings. They even set up an area in your account when you violate something so you can take care of it instead of getting the cold boot. You can however be booted for low traffic quality without notice.

If only people who are not even eligible for YPN would stay out of this forum and stop whining.

Its actually a major advantage to those that are eligible, just think how much harder it would be to get into YPN if there was 10 times more people applying on a daily basis, if your chances of getting into YPN being SSN holding American are less then 5% right now, with international signups it would be 0.5%. Not too mention rates would crash and people would begin praising Adsense again.

Not exactly, they don't have many advertisers as it is, they need more and I'm sure we can handle the influx by getting more traffic and providing more clicks. :p

YSM allows advertisers from almost everywhere in the world, because almost all the countries in the world have a significant amount of people who use Yahoo. The problem is that they don't even have enough advertisers to fill their search traffic, much less traffic on a content network.
