Namepros sucks, they banned me for saying a joke in the chatroom about hacking.

Dp rocks because it has the largest FREE market place. Thank you DP for this! (I'm crossing fingers hoping it never goes to paid sales ads like Sitepoint )

2nd Favorite is www.NamePros.com, I know the owner RJ, and he's freakishly nice :)

3rd Favorite (ok, it's a shameless plug :D) is www.WebmasterPost.com/forum (someday it will be all that, we're just starting and I'm tenaciously persistant)

By the way, who is the owner of DP? I want to meet this great guy/girl and shake their hands. They are very generous to have a revenue sharing forum AND free sales threads.

Best forum to get laughed at and insulted: offtopic.com. I was told it was the best place to go for hits, wow, nutty place. I left after a day.

There's another forum I use quite a lot. It's called Ecademy. There's a wealth of information there on a number of subjects but you need to pay to be a member.

Why the hate for SEOChat? I don't care either way... I'm just curious because it's the only other forum I visit besides DP. I think fathom and others on there are pretty good guys.

Right now I´m not inspired to post anywhere but here. Once in a while I check out some members´forums and do like it when there are some real conversations on my own. Other than that, DP has it all. And the longer I am here, the less tolerance I get for overmoderation and the way many other forums are really just being used to generate business for the owner. This aside from a couple of small forums I know is the only one that grew naturally and without the intent to make the owner any money.
