What's the best thing that happened to you in 2006?

Everyone always seems to want to either look back and joke about the prior year, or set resolutions for the next year ... so I thought it would be interesting (and a nice change) to hear the most memorable/best aspects of your life in 2006.

For me, the best thing that happened to me was watching my son go from a crawling 12 month old to an energetic, bubbly, talkative 2 year old. So much fun.

Met the sweetest man on earth and because of him i learned to love myself...

 

The best thing that has happened to me (and my family) in 2006.

After a month of blood tests trying to figure out what was wrong with my 6 year old grandchild they narrowed it down to one of three things, bone cancer, leukemia or mono. I know that sounds like a weird set of choices but with his liver enzymes sky high and his white blood cell count even more worrisome, those were the choices left.

They've finally with the last blood test eliminated the possibility of ALL of the cancer.

They are now just waiting for some cultures to grow to actually determine what was wrong with him. He is feeling fine now and all the family worries are over.

3) Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 this Christmas
