Weight Tripled?

with www. Magic4You .nu I used to have a base weight of about 3k (having 4 links per page) but today I just increased to 11k9? I always had a bad weight because I assume that DP somehow doesnt see pages in URL (the backlinks and PR and visitor stats are pretty good) but in Google it DOES show 1600 backlinks. Did the co-op change so now my pages in Google count? Or what?

Maybe Bourbon increased your pagecount or something.

Have you been checking your pages indexed using the API? Nothing seems to have changed so my guess would definately be Google recognizing a lot more pages.

Mine didn't triple, but it went up, but my page count via the API went up to, so it made sense to me.

Yeah. using mcdar, I can see on some datacenters the # of indexed pages for my sites are going up and the api is reflecting that as well.

I dont know about pages count in google. somehow the keyword tracker always gives 0 for this website, although if I search in google it shows. Its the only one that gives always 0. with or without http://

But err, since its in the co-op, pages count might be the reason :)

Thats because it doesn't auto update when you run a check. To get an accurate count you have to delete the url and re-enter it ;)

Ok, now the DP keyword tracker shows me 329 pages and 2 backlinks (deleted and readded url). McDar shows me three different stats (on different dc's)

    155 pages and 2 bl
    1170 pages and 2 bl
    1170 pages and 36 bl

Can I safely assume that G is updating my sites pages and backlinks? Or is this just normal behaviour for G?

Looking at that I would say its normal behaviour. The API rarely matches the other datacenters.

So McDar-count and API-count isn't the same thing? If not is there a simple tool that actually shows the current API-count without deleting and readding the URL?

it should update the page count when you click on the link for that backlink, that'd make sense.

    It would, wouldn't it :D

I actually don't delete/add my "www . domain. com" but instead d/a "www . domain . com /". It gives the same result but lets me keep statistics for the other data. To be able to update pagecount would of course be even better.

Lol, my weight for this website doubled again. I changed it from 4 to 5 pages, then it went from 14k to 18k, a week later it went to 23k. Lol. I add this website itself in the coop as well, as I had a lot of spare COOP weight (I know I know.. the coop wont get penalised, I know its not a reason to get into the sandbox etc.. but I am just very careful, and only add weight to websites slowly... and this website is more than 5 years old so wont get sandboxed anyway)...

    Anyway.. going great :)
