ebooks tend to be kinda lame...

I don't think I've ever read one that gives info that I couldn't find anywhere else.

 

SEbasic, You should read the ebooks i've written about writing ebooks with content that cannot be found somewhere else!!

There is no need to buy a rip-off ebook. All you need to do is read the forums DP has loads of information on adsense optimization. Read it. There are loads of tips here and everywhere.Look at the google optimization page.

 

I actually bought his ebook and it wasn't that bad. It is geared to novices, so if you already know how adsense works you may be disspointed, but otherwise it is a good read. 80 bucks is kinda steep for info that could be found for free, but if you want a concise guide to adsense and you are an absolute newbie it may be worthwhile.

 

I bought it for a discounted price offer.... I don't think it's a scam or a ripoff, it's great info for beginners to this, or people who don't have time to go around searching for tips, etc. It is pretty basic info.

All that being said, I noticed no real increase as guaranteed in the book, I e-mailed Joel about it, but I don't think I'm up for the guarantee since he gave me such a great deal, nor would I want my money back--- I just wanted him to take a look at my site and see if was missing something.

Actually, i've installed a great new Wordpress engine over the weekend, and it's made a good difference in performance.

And I think it's a watse of my money.

Well, if you're a beginner, you can learn from it.
But if you've already known stuff like "Where to Place ads,...." , you don't want to buy it.

It just some reviews of Google Adsense that might not help you anyways.

 

Yea, the consensus here is don't buy it. Just a rehash of stull you already know.
