Hey there, I wanna implement product filters in my store since my range of products is really big. I came here to ask someone who already has it or tried it, do you find product filters helpful for customers? How can I implement them effectively in my sellvia and amazon stores? And furthermore, are there some services to do this or do I have to do it myself by coding? I already asked this question in sellvia community and amazon customer service but didn't get the answer I needed
Use clear, relevant product filters such as price, brand, size, color, ratings, and availability to help customers find products quickly. Make filters mobile-friendly, allow multiple selections, and show the number of matching products. Also, ensure filters load quickly and work well with sorting and pagination. A simple filtering experience can improve usability, reduce frustration, and increase conversions.
Yes they help a lot once you have more than a few dozen products. One thing people miss is the filters only work if your product data is clean, so before adding any app make sure every product has the same attribute names (size, color, material etc) filled in the same way. Otherwise you get Black, black and BLK as three options. Also look at your site search terms, what people type there tells you which filters they actually want. On Shopify type stores a filter app is enough, no need for custom dev.
