I would measure a few useful actions before adding more features: starting a search, opening a job listing, and clicking through to apply. That will tell you where visitors stop, whereas time on page alone can be misleading. For a job site, saved searches or alerts are worth testing because they give someone a reason to return when there are new vacancies. Start with one of those, then compare returning visitors and application clicks before and after. More code is only useful if it helps people find a relevant job faster.
