AdSense keeps rejecting my English teaching site for Low Value Content — what am I missing?

    Hi everyone,

I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from people who have experience with AdSense.

    My website is:

    https://inglesconcindy.com/

I’m an English teacher and the site is part of my educational project for Spanish-speaking students. I also teach free English classes on YouTube, and many of the website pages are connected to those lessons.

The site currently has 80+ pages with original educational content, including:

    • English grammar and vocabulary lessons
    • interactive exercises
    • listening activities with original audio
    • pronunciation practice
    • reading activities
    • embedded YouTube classes
    • downloadable resources
    • a structured beginner English learning path
I also have About, Contact, Privacy Policy and other legal pages.

The site gets organic traffic from Google. In the last 28 days, Search Console/Site Kit showed approximately:

    • 137K search impressions
    • 791 clicks
    • 1.4K unique visitors from search
However, AdSense keeps rejecting the site for:

    “Low Value Content.”

I’m having trouble understanding what Google considers low value in this case.

Some pages are not traditional long blog posts because they are designed as actual English lessons. A page may contain an explanation, examples, audio, a YouTube lesson and interactive exercises instead of a very long article.

I would really appreciate it if someone could take a look at the site and tell me:

    1. Do you see anything that could explain the “Low Value Content” rejection?
    2. Are my lesson/exercise pages too thin for AdSense?
    3. Would you add more written content, remove some pages, or change the site structure?
    4. Is there anything technically wrong that I may be overlooking?
    5. Would you keep trying with AdSense, or would you move to another network such as Journey by Mediavine?
I’m not trying to bypass AdSense policies. I genuinely want to understand what needs to be improved before spending more time changing the site.

Any specific feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Firstly you have to realize that the demand from websites and YouTube creators for adsense continues to grow.
The number of advertisers that are willing to pay for adverts is not growing (may even be decreasing due to competition from meta, reddit etc).
This means that Adsense really has no need for any more or many new websites to be added to the ecosystem = they have to match the volume or inventory of paid adverts to the websites and monetized YT channels.
The only way for new websites to get in is if older accounts or websites are removed or the inventory of adverts increases.
As this has massively increased the threshold or barrier to entry for new site.

Looking at your site,, it appears to just be a promo for your course and not the sort of "content" type website that Adsense wants.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the site. I really appreciate the feedback.

I just want to clarify one important point: the course promotion you are seeing on the site was added AFTER AdSense had already rejected the website for “Low Value Content.” It was not there when I originally applied.

Before that, the site was primarily focused on the educational content itself. I added the course section later because, after the AdSense rejection, I decided I needed to use the traffic in some other way rather than leave the website unmonetized.

The site still contains 80+ educational pages with English lessons, explanations, interactive exercises, listening activities, pronunciation practice, audio, videos and other learning resources. For example, the actual lesson content is accessible throughout the site, not only from the homepage.

So I don’t think the course promotion itself can explain the original rejection, since it did not exist at that time.

That said, your comment makes me wonder if the current homepage makes the educational content look less prominent than it really is.

If you have a moment, could you look at a couple of the actual lesson pages rather than only the homepage? I would really value your opinion on whether those pages themselves look like the type of content AdSense considers valuable, or whether you think there is something structurally wrong with the site.

Thanks again. I’m genuinely trying to understand what Google is seeing.

I asked gemini: "Does an actual person or team review and approve new AdSense applications?"

Read the response. I'd encourage you to apply again.

"Yes, the Google AdSense approval process involves a mix of automated systems and actual human reviewers.

When you submit an application, Google's bots first crawl your site to perform initial checks. For sites that are clearly clean and compliant, or conversely, obviously incomplete or violating policies, the automated system can often make a quick approval or rejection decision on its own.

However, for borderline cases, which make up a large portion of applications, the automated systems will flag the site for manual review. During this stage, an actual Google employee will visit your site, navigate through your pages, and evaluate your content to ensure it meets quality standards and provides real value to users.

Many publishers note that because human judgment is involved in these middle-ground cases, the review process can be somewhat subjective. This is why some sites may get rejected initially but are later approved upon resubmission without any major changes."

Thank you so much! That actually gives me some hope. I’ve already made several improvements to my site since the rejection, so I’m going to apply again. I really appreciate you taking the time to check this and encourage me.

AdSense rejects this simply because their automated bots view interactive lessons and exercise pages as "thin content." Since you don't have long blocks of text, the system assumes there's no real value there, even if the content is great for students. The quickest way around this is to add more written explanations or transcripts to those pages and reapply. Also, Journey usually looks for around 10k sessions, so sticking with AdSense while you grow your traffic is definitely your best bet right now.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Every post has more than 700 words before the exercises, so I don't get it. I'll try with journey. I hope they really pay, I've heard a few negative things.

you can also try mediavine or ezoic but they pay substantially lower than Google adsense.
