How to write wild card IP address

If writing this IP address on CSF:
1.2.3.0/24

Will allow 1.2.3.*
* is wild card

The question, how to allow 1.2.*.* or even all IP address that start with 1.*.*.* ?
Tried these but not works : 1.2.0/24.0/24 or even 1.0/24.0/24.0/24


Please answer

 

1.2.3.* = 1.2.3.4/24

1.2.*.* = 1.2.3.4/16

1.*.*.* = 1.2.3.4/8

Inside there is example :
# CIDR addressing allowed with a quaded IP (e.g. 192.168.254.0/24).

How to allowed 192.168.*.*
i tried this not works : 192.168.0/24.0/24
