My daily vehicle is a Honda Civic, been using it for a few years now and still love it.

But for longer trips or family travel, I sometimes prefer using a car rental so I can choose something more spacious or comfortable.

I had forgotten about this thread, but now have an update for it. After being a loyal Lincoln driver for most of my life (five in a row), my son suggested that I try a Cadillac the last time I needed a car. So, I am now driving a Cadillac XTS V-Sport Platinum as pictured below. Absolutely love it and will not be going back to Lincolns any time soon.

I've always liked those. Just make sure to fill it with 7 quarts of oil instead of the standard 6. Not sure why the manufacturer thought that was a good idea. Even some mechanics only put in 6 instead of 7.

Will talk to my mechanic about that, thanks. He also recommended that I keep the tires inflated 5 psi above the manufacturer's guidelines because they are so thin and if you hit a pothole, it is easy to dent the wheel. It is going in the shop tomorrow for some new running lights that have burnt out.
