First, no one in New England would have thought that this post would be possible at the start of the season. Admittedly, the Patriots had a very soft regular season schedule which, I believe, allowed them to put things together to gel and turn into a super bowl contender. Amazing turnaround and that is why Vrabel got Coach of the Year, McDaniel's got Assistant Coach of the Year and Maye missed MVP by one vote. This season, they have prided themselves on being underestimated and road warriors (having won every game they played on the road.) This all said, they are underdogs in the Super Bowl and probably rightfully so. But, I am predicting that they will squeak this one out and win it all (just like the Pats did against the Seahawks in a previous Super Bowl.) But it will be brutal and very close.
