In 2016 I said updates would be provided. In 2017 I also explained by email that our data source became unavailable and I couldn’t give an exact date. There was a long gap, I acknowledge that.
You claim I “never apologized.” I did. On June 3, 2021 I emailed you: “Sorry for the delayed reply… we finally managed to update the database (2021 updated).” You never replied to that email.



That 2021 message was the moment this could have been handled privately and reasonably. I was prepared to send you the updated version and discuss a fair way to make things right. Instead, you chose not to respond, then returned in 2024 to post hostility in public, right after I updated this thread.




Now, on the image licensing point: I NEVER ADVERTISED “LICENSED IMAGES” in this sales thread and I never promised that. Repeating “unlicensed images” across the thread doesn’t change what was (or wasn’t) offered.

 

1. I stand corrected. Yes, you most certainly apologized for taking THREE YEARS to reply to an email. What you have not apologized for is not fulfilling the obligations you made upon yourself to deliver with the purchase of your product. You failed to provide any updates and you failed to provide basic customer service.

2. "I was prepared to send you the updated version and discuss a fair way to make things right." Why would there be a need for a discussion? Were you expecting me to have to beg for something i was already owed? I had previously stated I would update or remove any negative posts upon the delivery of an updated db. No discussions needed as the parameters had already been set.

3. What is the point of providing images if they are not licensed for use? The inclusion of the images implies they are available for use. You should remove your "selling point" in the description or clearly state the images are not licensed and can only be used for personal use. I mean seriously, what is the point of the images in the db?

4. Here are some clear expectations of how I will end this. Pick one of the following options.

• Send me an updated db
• refund my $150
• Apologize for failing to meet the obligations of the purchase agreement and misleading buyers about the images

You should just stop replying because it's not working out well for you.

I already acknowledged the update delay. But your claims about the images are simply false and embarrassing. I never claimed “licensed images” in this listing, and the images were manually collected, they’re not scraped/watermarked Bikez copies. Stop spreading misinformation.
