You're selling them but you've done no business planning?
I imagine there are many - the big question is what type of business do you have experience dealing with? A big company like 3M isn't going to be impressed if you don't have any business experience but will be a lucrative contract, your local plumber will be grateful for your expertise but won't pay well.

What did your market research tell you? How do your costs compare to your competitors?
When you look at sites that are in the niche you'd target but already have chatbots, how much are they spending?

    Hey Shah786,

Many businesses across various industries can benefit from incorporating AI chatbots.

Think about businesses like e-commerce companies looking to enhance customer service, digital marketing agencies aiming to automate interactions, healthcare providers streamlining patient support, and even educational institutions facilitating student inquiries.

The key is to understand the specific needs and pain points of each business and showcase how AI chatbots can address them effectively.

    Hope this helps!

Many businesses could benefit from AI chatbots, especially those in customer service, e-commerce, and healthcare. Companies focusing on efficiency and scalability would likely be highly interested in integrating such technology. But in general, it seems to me that now almost every business will find a place for a chat bot

Chatbot services are pretty saturated since basically anyone can build a wrapper around chatgpt now. So you have to build one that is really niche and has some niche specific features, and then target that niche!

If you’re targeting SMBs, $50/month isn’t crazy but only if it clearly replaces real work. The ones that actually pay are businesses with repetitive, time-wasting queries like e-commerce with order status/returns, local services booking jobs, clinics handling basic intake, or SaaS with simple support queues. Selling “AI chatbot” doesn’t work, selling “cuts 30-40% of emails or calls” sometimes does. In practice free trials or usage-based pricing help a lot because most owners don’t believe the value upfront. I’ve seen it work when the bot is tightly scoped and trained on their own data, similar to how some people use setups like botino.eu rather than a generic chat widget.

In my experience, the easiest fits are businesses that deal with repetitive inquiries: e-commerce (order status/returns), appointment-based local services (clinics, salons, repairs), real estate, and support-heavy SaaS.
If a business handles scheduling, FAQs, or lead qualification, chatbots usually make sense. Low-traffic/word-of-mouth businesses don’t get much value.
