Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been seeing way more volatility in Google rankings than usual, especially around informational queries. We already had: - March 2025 core update - June 2025 core update - August 2025 spam update …and now it feels like Google is still quietly tweaking things on top of that. In my niches I’m seeing: - More shuffling between big brands and smaller niche sites - Old thin “list” articles dropping, while deeper guides are climbing - Some AI-written content losing visibility unless it’s heavily edited and backed by real expertise What I did that seems to stabilize things a bit: 1) Expanded thin pages into proper topical hubs (internal links + FAQs). 2) Added clearer sources and author info to show real expertise. 3) Consolidated overlapping articles that were kind of cannibalizing each other. Is anyone else seeing similar patterns in November 2025? What did you do that actually helped after the June core + August spam updates?
It might be easier for a site that has been around for a while, but for a newly started site it will probably be harder to get Google to recognize the content. I have a site that has only been up for a couple of months, with long articles, the pages are indexed but they are not included in a search on Google.
