How does the bidding work regarding search results?

Hey guys, I would like to try Adwords and can use some help please. When I do keyword research and I see a CPC say 1.57 for a particular kw, does this mean that every time someone should click on my ad I will pay 1.57 or would it cost me 'more' than 1.57 each time my ad is clicked on?

There's a complicated algorithm around the quality of the site, the likelihood of getting a click and the amount you're prepared to pay. The top ad isn't necessarily the highest cost per click but it will be the most reliable income for Google.

Thanks but sorry to say that doesn't answer my question. so let me re-word. If I should wish to run an Ad for my budget of $100 for a specific keyword say 'local plumber near me' as an example and the kw research should show the CPC for that kw is $1.15, how should I go about this please?

Those figures are averages and can fluctuate by the hour. You can set whatever price you want, but if there's more bidders willing to pay more, your ad may not be shown. It depends because an advertisers budget can be exhausted half way through the day if there's enough traffic/ad clicks. Then the bid prices change again.

Ex. an advertiser has a $50 a day budget and his budget of $50 is spent by 11am. When I had a local service business, I would only advertise during business hours (8am-5pm) and paused the ads on weekends. The prices/bidding is continually changing. If the top bid is $1.57, you can bid $1.25 and be placed in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th place. Top spot bids aren't neccessary depending on your Ad copy/CTA.

This will depend on many factors and CPC here shows you the average amount you will pay for each click but it differs from the maximum CPC. Maximum CPC is the highest amount that one can pay for each click.
The amount detected on each click depends on your bid amount, ad quality score, and the competition with other advertisers. It is a variable amount and sometimes you will less and sometimes the highest amount but it won't exceed your daily spending limit.
You can optimize your CPC with the following practices:
    Choose the relevant keywords
    Write compelling ad copies
Design an appealing landing page for a better user experience, also use a clear CTA, and keep the page design neat and clean that show what you offer to your users.

Spirit Airlines doesn't include bags in its base allowance (Bare Fare). Additionally, baggage prices rise the closer you get from take-off. Your best option is to purchase your allowance at the time of your first booking.
