Hello, I’m looking for critiques and suggestions on how to improve my website. It’s built with Wordpress and elementor. I feel like the design can definitely be improved, I just don’t know exactly what. Feedback is highly appreciated!

Great idea! I'd recommend adding an "about us" page with a team photo and a bit of your history. You mention an app but don't give screenshots - not even a prototype. And give people an idea of when it'll be available. How will the sensors be charged - and how often? Will the screens go dim or off to save energy? They'd be annoying in a bedroom or darkened living room if they glowed brightly.

My only suggestion for the product is to give it rounded corners.

Hi there! Thanks for asking out for feedback on your website. It's great that you're open to improvement! With WordPress and Elementor, you've got a solid foundation to work with. I have seen your site and here are a few suggestions to consider:

    1. Simplify Navigation: Ensure that your navigation menu is intuitive and easy to use. Visitors should be able to find what they're looking for without too much effort.

    2. Consistent Design: Keep the design elements consistent throughout your site for a cohesive look and feel. This includes colors, fonts, and spacing.

    3. Optimize for Speed: Check your site's loading speed and optimize it if necessary. Slow-loading websites can drive visitors away.

    4. Mobile Responsiveness: Make sure your website looks and functions well on mobile devices. More and more people are browsing the web on smartphones, so this is crucial for a positive user experience.

    5. Call-to-Action (CTA): Make sure each page has a clear call-to-action. Whether it's signing up for a newsletter, making a purchase, or contacting you, guide visitors on what you want them to do next.

    6. Visual Hierarchy: Use visual hierarchy to guide visitors' attention to the most important elements on each page, such as headlines, images, and buttons.

    7. Content Quality: Review your content for clarity, relevance, and engagement. High-quality content keeps visitors interested and coming back for more.

Look my friend, design is subjective, so what works for one person may not work for another. Trust your instincts, but also be open to constructive criticism. Best of luck with your website improvements!

    Thank you.

Consider updating the color scheme and typography to make it more visually appealing. Look into adding more whitespace for a cleaner layout and easier navigation.
Utilize Elementor's features for more creative design elements such as animations or custom shapes.

I suggest adding more info about the product, restructuring the content, including a navigation menu, exploring different font options, and incorporating some interactive elements.

Your site looks great, but I agree that a few design tweaks could make it even better. One suggestion would be to enhance the visual hierarchy, especially with more defined call-to-action buttons. You could also consider optimizing the mobile responsiveness with Elementor’s mobile view settings to ensure consistency across devices. If you’re looking for inspiration, nandomenus.co.uk uses some interesting layout strategies that might be helpful. Best of luck with the updates—your project has a lot of potential

The titles are too large compared to the small text font. Reduce the size of the titles.
This doesn’t feel like a landing page, it's a bunch of elements flying around on the screen, and it lacks a sense of organization.
Make the background very light green.
    Add a header.
    Center the logo nicely.
Remove the button radius, or make it 3 or 5.
Add a footer and contact information.
Order icons and illustrations on Fiverr.
Replace all plant images with illustrations.

I took a look at your site, and I think it’s got a solid foundation, but there’s definitely room for some fun improvements. Maybe add some eye-catching images that relate to your content to break up the text and make it more engaging. I’ve found that tweaking the color scheme a bit can really help create a cohesive vibe, too. Also, don’t be afraid to experiment with different fonts; a fresh font can really make a difference in the overall look.

I checked out your site, and it has a solid foundation! If you want to improve the design, you could work on better spacing, a more modern font, and maybe refining the color palette for a cleaner look. Also, optimizing for mobile could make a big difference. Have you tried experimenting with Elementor's custom CSS for more flexibility?

Your site’s got a sick concept. Seriously, you’re onto something. But the design could use a little extra love. You gotta hit people right away with a killer hero section, think a bold headline that grabs attention and a visual that really pops. Also, give everything some more breathing room; let the design breathe with more whitespace.
Bump up the font sizes, keep the typography clean and consistent, and maybe tighten up the color palette a bit so it feels more polished. Oh, and don’t forget a clear visual hierarchy. Make those CTA buttons pop like they're begging to be clicked. Real-life product photos would be clutch too, so people actually trust what they're seeing.
You’re off to a really solid start — just needs a little more energy and flow to really make it shine.

Beautiful design. Definitely a bar with several "about us" "contact" pages

Reduce the font-size of your marked header and the button value

Firstly I`d say create a dedicated homepage as opposed to using a landing page as your main site page.
    • Your homepage should be used to provide more information about the product and your company and start building the story as to why I need the product and the problem that I have that you are solving.
    • As someone else mentioned you need a good hero section at the top of the page. That`s essential. Its an Elementor site so even if you don`t know the builder inside and out you can use a plugin like PrimeSlider to create a good responsive slide.
    • You need more p text and less H2/H1 and if you are going to use typography as a design main element then commit to it. Some of your headlines as well could incorporate some interactivity, be it a simple hover animation, click or scroll trigger. "Bring Your Plant To Life" A simple motion effect could bring that text to life as well as that`s probably where you want to place the video. Also, align the text to be center with the images, its a bit of an uneven read with the text positioned opposite and at the top of the images. As the site is built with Elementor and the pages are built using the two flexbox container option adding playing around with the sticky, z-index, VH and margin would give you a nice sticky and reveal effect on scroll.
    • There`s very little information about the product or road map. As there is a waiting-list you probably want to include a road map as many people may be interested but don`t necessarily want to join the wait list.
    • Where are the screens/UI for the app? You have the phone mock-up with the logo but that would be better used displaying even a simple interface from the app.

    Cool product idea.

My favorite source of inspiration: Check out your competitor websites. Ask yourself what exactly you like about their pages and then implement it if possible even in an improved way.

I can also recommend you RankMath as your SEO plugin to cover the on-page SEO.
