Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get some honest feedback and help from this awesome community. I've been running my blog for a while now and so far I've received 568,352 total views across all posts. However, my total AdSense earnings are just $8. This doesn't seem right, and I feel like I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. I'm looking for any advice or suggestions on how to improve this situation. Here are a few extra details: I’m using Auto AdSense display ads Most of my visitors are from Africa countries ( ARABIC PEOPLE) Have you faced something similar? What could be the reason for such low earnings despite a high number of views? Any tips on improving CTR, CPM, or monetization strategy in general would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance alsadawi.blogspot.com
I have no idea, so I can only guess. Maybe your traffic is not really your traffic? It could be a Blogpost traffic. Move it to your own host, there are a lot of very cheap hostings for such small sites. Pay monthly if you don't have enough money to pay for 1 year. Another thing: First year of my site, I could generate likely 5 cents a day with 100+ daily visits. Now, I have a few sites with 50 daily visits, and they generate at least 15 cents daily. AdSense can not let you earn first year. However, use a hosting service, not a Blogpost platform.
When you mention "so far," what time frame are you referring to? Is it 6 months, 1 year, or 5 years? Your image indicates earnings of €0.02 over 7 days and €0.03 for the current month. If these figures reflect your average weekly earnings, your total of €8.62 seems about right. To estimate your AdSense revenue more accurately, use the Google AdSense revenue calculator: https://adsense.google.com/start/#calculator. Be sure to input your actual monthly page views for a reliable projection.
You're right to feel like something is amiss! 568,352 total views for only $8 in AdSense earnings is indeed extremely low, indicating a significant issue with your monetization. It translates to an RPM (Revenue Per Mille, or per 1,000 views) of roughly $0.014, which is almost negligible.
