The first thing that comes to your mind when u hear the word Marketing?

When I hear the word Marketing the first thing comes in my mind is that it is convincing about the services or products to the relevant consumers.If you are communicating about services to relevant audience in proper manner that could be proper marketing.

Once think of marketing it going to killing me but that my job. As a marketer , once i heard about marketing , i will look in it is it a free marketing plan which do not need to involve any cost to get the same result.

 

amway !... seriously I had a bad experience in the past... so.. but trying to change it by doing ethical marketing.

 

I feel marketing is the strategy involved in sales to gain profit for their products or services. Wherever we go, marketing exists. Especially in online, when we enquire the search page for query, marketing places a very good role.
Nowadays, if we visit any ecommerce site to buy product and that relative products and relevant sites appear everywhere we go to the page in online for few days. It appears in search page, websites, social media channels, etc.

 

Sales

Because I feel with the change in the digital world and with covid, the barriers between different roles in a company overlap more than ever. In my area, I notice marketing jobs requiring knowledge of photoshop and illustrator which are graphics designer jobs, but the way marketing is measured in business is how much sales it brings in. This is especially more prominent in e-commerce businesses. Traditionally, marketing would generates leads for sales person to 'follow' up, with e-commerce being global and selling all sorts, you would not hire a sales person to call someone on the other side of the planet to close the sale for most B2C e-commerces. Hence, marketing is sales

 

SEO, brand

 

something everyone pretend to be able to do.. but in fact something complicated... Marketing is being able to invent strategies to improve sales, not necessary with a bduget.

 

Its for people who are brainless and not able to achieve any other career goal in life.

 

The very first thing which come to my mind when I hear the word marketing - advertisement. I don't know why, but probably because these two notions are tightly connected to each other. Marketing for me is all about promotion and advertisement and it's actually like that.

So, probably, these days I can connect marketing with affiliate partnership which also plays important role nowadays. You just promote goods or services and receive a particular percentage from the results of your promotion.

 

For me the world "marketing" is about promotion, increasing, something interesting, development. It's just a real strategy and logical thinking with a little creativity!

 

Expensive! Thirty years ago I took out an ad in a well known magazine for under 100 dollars.Now it's well over $1000 or more.
