To lower the CPC of Facebook ads you should focus on these matrices below

Optimize the Relevance Score of ads- Relevance score is a rating of 1-10 scale of how well your ad is served or received by your targeting audience. The good relevance score lies between 8-10. It's not easy to optimize but if you keep practising and analysing the data of your ads, you'll get the idea of how to optimize for it.
Increased CTR- Click-through rate is another important matrix to lower the CPC.
Conversion Tracking- This will help you to increase your conversions.
Audience Retargeting- Retarget those who show interest in your ads but don't forget to study the audience insights first.

Some tips you can use to optimize for Relevance score and boost CTR
    Audience Targeting-
Don't go for the broader audience, always be specific if you want more conversions and run low on budget.
Make Changes in your ads- Don't run the same ad for a long time period, make the required changes and pay proper attention to the audience insights.
Change ad creative- Timely change your ad creatives, leverage the video creative
Catchy Title and Description- This will help to boost CTR if you use it correctly. Don't promote your product/service. Promote how it will help your target audience.

You can try this to lower your CPC on Facebook. There are more ways to do it but starting with easy ones is good.

One of the best ways to lower your CPC on Facebook is by doing multivariate testing with your targeting and creative. Instead of running 1 or 2 ads, run 10

if it is page promotion, I use this tactic, when there are special holidays, like Christmas, new year, and so on, I post happy holidays for that, for example " Our company would like to Wish our Clients a special Christmas full of Joy"
then post the ad, in my experience, you get good results and are inexpensive. instead of .09 per click, I will get .05 or about.

Avoid overlapping audiences and use lots of images and/or videos. Make sure you have a strong call to action, and be niche specific in your targeting.

Cost per click (CPC) on Facebook ads can be lowered by implementing the following strategies:

    1. Optimize your ad creative: Make sure your ad creative is visually appealing and relevant to your target audience. Use high-quality images and videos and make sure your ad copy is clear and compelling.

    2. Target the right audience: Use Facebook's targeting options to reach the right people. Use demographics, interests, behaviors, and other targeting options to reach people who are more likely to be interested in your product or service.

    3. Use a bid cap: Set a bid cap to control your maximum bid. This will ensure that you don't overspend on your ad campaign and that your ads are delivered to the right audience.

    4. Use a schedule: Schedule your ads to run during specific days and times when your target audience is most active. This will help to lower your CPC by reaching the right people at the right time.

    5. Test different ad formats: Experiment with different ad formats, such as carousel ads, video ads, and slideshow ads. This will help you to find the format that works best for your audience and lower your CPC.

    6. Monitor and adjust your campaign regularly: Monitor your campaign regularly and make adjustments as necessary. Make sure that you are reaching the right audience, and that your ad is performing well. If your ad is not performing well, try experimenting with different ad copy, images, or targeting options.

    7. Use the Facebook Ads auction: Try to understand how the Facebook Ads auction works, learn how to bid, budget, and optimize your campaign to improve the performance and lower your CPC.
By implementing these strategies, you can lower your cost per click on Facebook ads and make your ad campaign more efficient and effective. Keep in mind that lower CPC does not always mean a better performance, it's important to track the performance of your campaign and adjust it accordingly.

    1. Narrow Down Your Target Audience
One of the most effective ways to lower your cost per click on Facebook ads is to narrow down your target audience. By targeting a specific group of people who are more likely to be interested in your product or service, you can increase your click-through rate and lower your cost per click.

    1. Optimize Your Ad Copy and Design
The quality of your ad copy and design can have a significant impact on your cost per click. Make sure your ad is visually appealing, and the copy is engaging and relevant to your target audience. Consider using A/B testing to determine which ad copy and design performs best.

    1. Use Relevant Landing Pages
Make sure the landing page your ad leads to is relevant and provides a clear call to action. This can help improve the user experience and increase your conversion rate, leading to a lower cost per click.

    1. Bid on Low Competition Keywords
Bidding on low competition keywords can help you lower your cost per click. Focus on long-tail keywords that are specific to your product or service, rather than broad keywords with high competition.

    1. Use Retargeting Ads
Retargeting ads can be a great way to lower your cost per click, as they target people who have already shown an interest in your product or service. This means they're more likely to click on your ad and convert, leading to a lower cost per click overall.

    1. Monitor Your Ad Performance
Keep a close eye on your ad performance to identify areas for improvement. Monitor your click-through rate, conversion rate, and cost per click, and adjust your targeting, ad copy, and bid accordingly.

In conclusion, lowering your cost per click on Facebook ads requires careful planning, monitoring, and optimization. By targeting a specific audience, optimizing your ad copy and design, using relevant landing pages, bidding on low competition keywords, using retargeting ads, and monitoring your ad performance, you can improve your click-through rate and lower your cost per click over time.
