    Probably not, but the dating scene is full of people trying to exploit loneliness - go out and meet some real people.

    I liked your post, however, as a guy who met his wife online some 11 years ago, I can tell you meeting real people for singles in their 30's and 40's can be very awkward and humiliating. By 30 one's dating pool shrinks significantly, let alone by 40. It's like a wilderness out there for them.

    The Facebook dating app is just like any other dating app that you’ve ever encountered. It is not really a scam but there are crooks there who would not waste time when it comes to taking advantage of lonely people. Just don't give personal details .Use it carefully .
