Hello everybody, we just launched our MVP publicly today to get some feedback.

We still haven’t commercialized it and want to make some final adjustments before we pour money into the marketing side of things.

I won’t write too much about it as a part of the feedback I need from your side is if our landing page communicates well what it is that we offer.

Here are my questions for you.

    1. From the landing page, is it clear what our service does? Is it a convincing pitch?

    2. Once you registered, was it clear how to get started?

    3. How was your overall experience using the service?

Any other feedback outside of this would be great as well. Features that are good, features you’re missing etc.

    Thanks in advance

Homepage looks good. The flow was intuitive but in the report generation, I got a few odd results.

First real suggestion is to make the word "login" the same size as the rest of the text

    upload_2021-12-6_11-33-22.png
I'd recommend darkening the green in the favicon - looks ok in this screenshot but in real life, it isn't clear.

I'd probably change this to "Key Phrase"

Thank you for the overall feedback! What do you mean by odd results in the report generation? Not words you expected to see?

No, it just seemed to stall doing the fetch, if I clicked again it would create a new row that was instantly available.

I like the landing page. For me, it is absolutely clear what the service does. I didn't try to register and test functionality, but your idea is very good.

The domain is unique and very brandable, the site logo is just as simple and easy to remember, the site design is exactly what you need, clean and easy to navigate, the right colors, congratulations, I still haven't had time to try the backend of the site .

Illegible blue-green on white text is doing you NO favors, as is that at 4k + 32px == 1REM there's what, 20 words on the whole page? The layout seems busted as if you're willy-nilly mixing EM/REM with PX media queries. The image of the tool in action REALLY needs the ability to click on it to see detail since even at 4k you can't really make out what it is. Framing it to make it more apparent it's a screenshot and not flow text might help too. The pointlessly redundant "ready to start" section is even worse with the white on green, and of course the illegible red on black in the footer isn't helping either.

It's called the WCAG, follow it. When it comes to colours, try this tool, it helps:

    https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/

If whoever you had do your "design" or choose your colours doesn't know about that, they're not a designer, they're an artists under the DELUSION of being such.

Keyboard / alternative navigation seems utterly banjaxed, I suspect this stems from broken/gibberish heading orders... so let's look at the code which with all the framework telltales visually, is likely a total shit-show.

    Yup, about what I expected.

No H1 indicating the heading that all PAGES on the site are subsections of, useless H3, several sections of normal flow text that shouldn't be headings marked up as such, some obvious headings not set as headings... and we're supposed to trust you for SEO tools?

Popping the bonnet to look at the markup, and it's the typical level of incompetence I expect from the know-nothing fools who use frameworks. Abuse of TITLE, a slew of redundant META that will fall back on the normal ones if omitted (like twitter:title), absolute URI's for NOTHING, endless pointless DIV and CLASS soup, static scripting in the markup, NOSCRIPT with a content element in the HEAD (utterly invalid), static SVG in the markup missing a caching opportunity, no media="screen" on the stylesheet link, DIV doing H1's job, NAV around non-"navigation" elements, poorly written / bloated SVG, invalid width/height declarations, made up tags that aren't even valid for how HTML 5 allows for that, button and scripttardery doing hash tag anchors and CSS' job, two P doing one H2's job, commented out content section on the deployment copy of what appears to be an incompetently coded testimonial section (with DIV doing blockquote's job), DIV in the markup for unnecessary presentation hooks, static STYLE in the markup, H3 + P doing OL/LI's job, DIV doing H3's job, H3 doing P's job, H4 doing H3's job, H5 on things that are not the start of subsections of the H4 preceding them (guaranteed to get you pimp slapped clear off search!?!), HR breaking the heading order, P doing UL/LI's job, static scripting in the markup for things that don't even warrant the use of JavaScript (and pissing on caching models in the process)... and it's likely REALLY not helping all the buttons + scripting doing normal anchor's job! Particularly on the BROKEN "try it now" link up at the top!

Which is why you've got 37k of broken, inaccessible, gibberish markup for only 2.18k of plaintext and 3 media elements, not even 8k of HTML's flipping job. Mated to the equally absurd 100k of CSS when site-wide for what I can see there's no reason to have more than a third that! Don't even get me started about the 1.8 megabytes of scripttardery on a page that doesn't even warrant the presence of JS apart from perhaps the GA stuff. Though I'm wondering how much of that scripting just plain isn't running and/or is blocked here. Looks like you SHOULD have some sort of chat client in there, but it's non-functional.

Anyhow, nothing like 2.1 megabytes of code spread out over 15 files doing the job of maybe 64k in five files.

But that's what one can expect when mental-huffing-midgetry like bootcrap gets involved. Do yourself a favor and go find a stick to scrape that off with before you go tracking it all over the web's carpets. ANYONE telling you that bootstrap is worth using is packing your fudge, as is evident by the pesky 3i of web development taking a dump on your site. What's 3i you ask? Ignorance, incompetence, and ineptitude.

Made all the more comical by your allegedly having an SEO tool, when you can't even on-page SEO your own site properly.

JUST to show you what I mean, skipping the broken chat popup, there is no reason for the markup of that site to vary significantly from:

    <!DOCTYPE html><html lang="en"><head><meta charset="utf-8">
    <meta
    	name="viewport"
    	content="width=device-width,height=device-height,initial-scale=1"

I don't like this green tone of the color.
I don't like the Frontpage realization - too much space between sectors, and because of the white background color, all elements look flying.
Add some grey - #F2F2F2 for example.
    Add elements to the footer.
    I like the domain name.

It all depends on the website. I made a few websites for AdSense, and since February 2019 I earned 230k EUR.
    I got only 30k in 2019 and 75k in 2020 and more than 120k in 2021.
I have 2 news sites, 3 travel sites and now I am building about 10 city guides.
News sites always will get more traffic very easily.
I have no idea about tech sites' income, but news/magazine sites can bring much more income than any other sites, because only on news/magazine sites it is possible to accept almost all guest posts topics.
Of cause, AdSense is much better than guest posts (it is purely passive income), but guest posting can reach 5-10k monthly income with only 2-3 additional hours daily (check emails, review content and post it).

If you have the right domain name and use the right posts titles, yes, you will easily get on the first pages of Google results in just a few days.

Something to remember is that HTML "semantics" is designed so that grammatical and structural meaning can be applied to text for ALL users, not just sighted ones on screens. Each tag has a meaning and if you choose ANY of your tags (and I extend this to classes and ID's) is saying what you want things to look like, you have chosen all the wrong markup for all the wrong reasons.

An H1 (singular) MEANS the (singular) heading that everything on every page of a website is a subsection of. That's why the site title/logo (as text) is your best candidate for being your H1. (singular)

An H2 MEANS the start of a major subsection of the page, with the first H2 on a page being the start of the main content unless you use the <main> tag. An H3 means the start of a subsection of the H2 preceding it. H4 means the start of a subsection of the H3 preceding it. Do I have to explain H5 and H6?

This is why skipping direct from H2 to H5 is incompetent trash. This is why it's gibberish to have more than one H1. This is why pairing two headings for a title and tagline is to be utterly ignorant of what numbered headings even are for. This is why I posted the image in my reply showing how broken the headings as used on the page are.

Din Djarin, have you ever used numbered headings improperly?

    I have...

Then you are a web developer no more. This is the why.

Just as P means a grammatical paragraph, not "I want a space after this". An image all on its lonesome is not a paragraph. Form label+input pairs are not paragraphs. Unless it's in direct "content flow" a sentence fragment is not a paragraph. Just as UL/OL are for short grammatical bullet points or selections, and not "hurr durrze eye wunts uh bullet befur it" or "these are major subsections". Just as tables are for tabular data with semantic relationships on each row and column labeled by headings with scope applied, and not "eye wunts teh columsies"

Did you folks not learn this in the 4th grade? This was 4th grade English in '78 - '79. Yes, including the idea of heading depths. HTML does nothing but codify grade school level (or what was grade school level) writing norms into something a user-agent (a browser is a UA but a UA isn't always a browser) can convey to users regardless of device type or handicap.

I always thought I got a crappy education in Plymouth, MA... I've had to revise that opinion of late.

Some reference to back up what I'm saying:

    https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/Heading_Elements

    Specifically:

    And:

Screen readers (software that reads the page aloud), braille readers, search engines, they all rely on this stuff being done right.

This is also why I point people at MDN to learn, and consider pretty much every other site on the topic to range from outdated trash (the various "course" sites) to outright scam artist bullshit. (W3Schools)
