Hi, after a ton of consideration I have reached the conclusion that the previous logo is actually your signature and I have tried to redesign it in a more subtle manner. Firstly, you will be able to see the end result of my work and secondly you will see both logos side by side, in which I will explain more in depth why and what kind of changes have I made.

Conception of logotype for football league- the Football ball and around a ball fish Tuna. Where the segments of a football ball stylized the atolls (islands) of the Maldives.Fish Tuna resembles the Maldivian way of life and is also a stylized sea wave washing the atolls

 

The following variations of the logo: 1-a simplified image of the ball, 2-there is an element of the national flag

Hi Smyrl, I was tasked by another party to create a logo and this is why I opened the contest. I would have ofcourse given the prize to the winner but I just found out the about the original contest and I think it is unfair that this one exists while there is a larger contest going on there.
