Contest $75 - PNG to SVG Design

Hi Everyone,

I am holding a contest to turn this PNG into a nice Illustrator SVG icon.



The icon will be used in a mobile app and set on a light gray background. I am looking for someone to take this image and turn it into a semi-realistic icon (ex: https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/ele...lustration-sae-j-connector-type-156661311.jpg). The icon should have the same angle and such as above. Bonus points if you can incorporate our primary color of #0655a5 into the icon.

Once we get a few submissions, I will give feedback on what is going well. Any submissions that are PMed to me will be ignored. Please attach them all here.

Would you like the vector to correspond the exact image that you have provided? As in, does it have to be cut from the bottom half just like in the picture or is it just an image of reference for the position and angles it should have, thus, the socket's handle should also be complete in the requested SVG icon, just like in the example provided via the link in the brief?

Great question. We're looking for a similar look as in the picture. For reference, we are using it as an icon inside of a Div as shown below:

 

These are a little too basic. I’m looking for a 3Dish render look but as an icon.

It is also incredibly important that the outlet of the plug be the same as pictured above since it’s a standard.

 

I think this captures what I am looking for so far. I would like to add a little more style to it though. Can we make that inner ring our main blue color and then add a little gray to the handle grip?

I like the whiter color in the handle of this one versus the beige. However I think the reflection is a little too much being that this is an icon only. Can we mute that?
