How could SEO die? It's alive and kicking and it's gonna stay like that for a long time :)

Search Engine Optimization is not dead because it should be a constant on-going process. Your SEO has to always be implemented if you want to potentially succeed and continue to succeed on the World Wide Web.

If your SEO is on a website with good content, it's still important.

If your content is poor, no amount of SEO will make it a successful website.

Not dead, Google announced BIG CORE update which is called WEB CORE VITALS and they gave 6 months for users/website owners to prepare for the core. I hope it will be good update :)

I wouldn't call it dead. It will never "die" as long as people are searching for things in search engines. The problem is the way search engines have shifted, it is now more about social media for traffic generation.

SEO will never end. Because SEO is required to rank any website in google at any time. So everyone wants to see their website in Google top or ranking well which can be beneficial for anyone.

SEO has definitely changed over the past decade, but it's not dead. It's not dying.

You can optimize your site, provide valuable content, guest post on other sites, etc. Done right, all these things will help you rank better. Building backlinks has certainly changed though, and you should focus on getting natural backlinks. This is why social media is crucial, as a good following will share your content and it will end up on other websites/blogs.

With that said, I do think SEO should be 'one' of the services offered by a marketing agency, and an entire business built on providing SEO is silly these days, as its only one aspect of getting traffic. You can get more targeted traffic from social media than ever before...many years ago the only way to get targeted traffic was from ranking in Google for specific keywords. So yes, things have changed - but SEO is not dead.

No, Never, Not in future that the SEO will be dead.
But the criteria for the seo will be little modified and some latest algorithm we have to follow for the seo activities.

You have to follow the major SEO algorithm guideline given by the major Search engines.
    this is target specific.

Not in the least. SEO is, and always will be, a vital part of Google Search (as well as other search engines), and will be among the most important factors determining SERP.

It's just undergone a major pivot. Gone are the days of keyword-driven content/metadata. Nowadays, it's all about User Experience (UX). Prioritize that, and Google's algorithms will take care of you, from an SEO perspective. Don't game the system, produce relevant/compelling/educational content, be patient/build your site the right way/don't be spammy, manage your ads+don't overdo it, leverage social sharing -- along with a zillion other factors, lol -- and you'll be good.

Def leverage SEO, though. It's the highest ROI method for any business. Inbound marketing FTW.

Nope. Still same things: great content, great user experience (Google measures how users behave on your site like how long they stay) and of course other sites linking to you.
