If Digitalpont had a algorithm to determine who was the best member what would the formula look like? Well first we should see what weight to put on what factors right? Something like postcount(*x)+reputation(*y)+trader(*z) / infractions(*x) + negitive reputation(*y) = Dpqs (digitalpoint quality score) Mainly I am curious to see what people really take into account when judging others on here (post content not included). thoughts?

I would say Reputation + iTrader was the way to go. But since the origin of rep gangs, only thing to look for is the quality of the posts and itrader.

I'd say none of those options, the most important part of this site is teaching and learning to better market your site.. The avatars are ruining the site IMO, why would everyone want to look the same ? seems a little assbackwords to me. the iTrader, and rep is okay, but it's messed up because some kid can come on and give you bad rep or iTrader and DP doesn't do anything about it.. The answer you'll get is "just forget about it" There is some great info here, but there are also 1,000's of threads that have nothing to do with marketing, and thats what this site is "about" just my 2 cents
I was actually posting that is jest...it was before shoe added the poll. Honestly, the only thing I pay attention to is what is contained in the post. Rep, number of posts, length of time, etc, etc are meaningless. There are members here with no rep and only a few posts that could run marketing/seo/sem/ppc circles around high rep/high post count folks.
I have to agree, rep, post count and such don´t matter. Age only matters to the degree of determining consistency maybe.

DPS = Digitalpoint Score Av = Avatar Picture Point PC = Post Count Rep = Reputation nRep = Negative Reputation Points pRep = Positive Reputation Points T = Itrader Points jDate = Joined Date 2Date = Today's Date Inf = Infractions DPS = (Av * 0) + [pRep+T]/[PC/(2Date-jDate)] - nRep/[PC/(2Date-jDate)] - Inf I think Avatar is least helpful beause it can be changed by member instantly from Bush's picture to Pop's picture {vice veca}
