No serious adverse events were reported within 28 days of the final vaccination.

The problem with taking the Chinese vaccine, is that you are hungry for a booster shot only one hour later.

The Russians already have the Sputnik 35 vaccine and now the Chinese vaccine has been here for about a month. Where I am they are telling us that by the end of this year we will also have one, and it will all be paid for by the government. (socialized health care system)

There will never be "a final cure" as such, but we will have a firewall against it in 2021.

There's no cure for a virus. We don't even have a cure for the common cold. Your immune system is what "cures" it. A vaccine helps your immune system produce antibodies that in turn fight against a specific virus.

Hmmm, how is "serious" defined? To me, ANY side effects in 28 days is SERIOUS. Now if the time frame had been a YEAR before any side effects rose to the surface, then I would not likely consider them serious.

And REPORTED? Does that mean that the really serious side effects were NOT reported, in effect being SUPPRESSED?

There will NEVER be a final cure for this or any other virus. For example, we have had DECADES to find a final cure for the common flu, yet it still kills HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS every year.

The answer is no, Putin wants the Russian people to be vaccinated first. They have a long way to go before all 140,000,000 Russians get the vaccine. It may take them a couple of years to be able to mass produce that many dosages. After that, Putin says that he would be more than willing to export the vaccine abroad.

What we witnessed with Trump catching the virus was what the newest/best therapies can now do for people that catch it. Note that Trump is 74 and overweight, two factors that make him "vulnerable" to the disease. However, with the latest/best therapies that medicine can offer, he was healthy and back on his feet in a few days. The various vaccines are a medium to long term approach to controlling the virus' spread; therapies like the ones that Trump was put on are the life-saving drugs that people need right now. While viruses cannot yet be outright killed by any drug or medical treatment, they can be rendered relatively harmless by therapies. E.g., getting the HIV virus used to be a guaranteed death sentence. Nowadays, due to advanced therapies, victims are living long and productive lives while still infected with the virus.

Not sure that I would trust a Chinese or a Russian vaccine. You always have to be skeptical of anything produced/promoted by evil and vicious dictators that have proven, time and again, that they value power over people's lives.
