The best tool for keyword research is Google Ads Keyword planner.
No other tool comes near to this when you are supposed to find the queries that lodged on Google.

You could also use SEMRush to find out what people search for on Yahoo and Bing Search engines.

 

I would suggest AHREFS. They have the biggest database and plenty of helpful matrices to analyze before making any decision. Not just keyword research, they have plenty of other great tools as well.

The only drawback is that it is expensive.

One that is pretty affordable is KWFinder. I think it costs about $30 per month. It also has a 14 day free trial where you can try it out.
I really liked that tool because it gave me all the data I needed.

As far as i know ahrefs is the best keyword research tool.

Go through their articles and hack the keywords. It is one of the best tools and Ahrefs crawler is second best to google.
