    Say I launch a Android App on version 6, and now Android version 9 has arrived. Do I need to update this Android App of mine on Play Store for Android version 9?

    Eventually you will, mine got pulled after 4 years because they were out of date.

    FWIW I completely rebuilt them with jasonette/jasonelle. quick and easy.

    With the number of apps people have installed on their devices today, regular updates can help an app get more mindshare relative to other apps on a device. Releasing regular updates keeps an app top of mind because it will show up in the updates list like the App Store or Google Play Store.
