    A few friends and I started a home improvement forum last month, and since starting we've mainly been focusing on keeping things simple and barebones while we build out some content for the site. We've focused on a conversational approach to building topics, a little bit at a time.

    I'm curious what you all think, particularly if you've managed to start a forum from scratch in the past. What feedback do you have for us?

    Hey there Techie Geek! Forum is very clean and easy to navigate. I like the domain too!
    I suggest making "Register" on top as a button so it's more noticeable.
    That may help get you more sign ups.

    Also, consider changing the main header background image to something more engaging :)
