An estimated 13.250 million people around the globe have been infected with Covid-19 thus far. It appears that none of them it seems have become reinfected. That would indicate that once you've been infected you are immune, perhaps for life.
Also the virus does not mutate, another bit of good news. As bad as it all appeared it could have been much worse. They are telling us that some of the experimental vaccines could be available for front line health workers by October, and for the general public by January.

They were hoping all would be available by July or August, but they have decided to keep on testing for side effects in the name of caution, and to protect themselves from lawsuits/litigation.
2020 will be a write off as far as the world economies are concerned, but 2021 will be the year of the great resurgence.

Here is yet another teaching moment: we have all heard the breathless reporting about the coronavirus infection rates skyrocketing in Florida after they re-opened beaches, bars, etc. End of the world type of comments coming from FakeNews/Democrats/Swamp and their co-conspirators in, so-called, public health. Now, it is discovered by honest reporters (there are some) that these public health paragons of professionalism have been cooking the books and inflating the numbers wildly in order to support the false narrative of impending apocalypse:

    https://www.fox35orlando.com/news/fox-35-investigates-florida-department-of-health-says-some-labs-have-not-reported-negative-covid-19-results

How about taking a 9% infection rate and publishing it as 98%? That should help the FakeNews headlines continue to scare their sheeple! A page right out of the climate hoax modelers' book of bad science.

I wish I could share your optimism, but I fear this is just the leading edge of the storm.

I will tell you what I was thinking this morning: the stock market is almost at 27,000, despite the shutdown and its severe economic consequences. I don't believe that companies' numbers really support the stock market being this high, right now, so there is an element of optimism or at least belief that things will get better in the medium term by investors. Anecdotally, just about all of the businesspeople that I speak to are bullish about Q3 and more so for Q4. This was a roaring economy (the best ever in my career, in fact) prior to the disastrous effects of the ill-considered shutdown and it seems like businesspeople, at least, recognize that it was artificially stifled and once the shutdown nonsense is stopped, things will bounce back relatively quickly. I could just be whistling past the dark, but I still think that there is a reasonable chance that the FakeNews/Democrats/Swamp will not be able to keep sabotaging the Trump economy and its workers for too much longer.

Now, if the fearmongering FakeNews/Democrats/Swamp continue to be able to frighten the low-information, sheeple into complete submission, all bets are off. Their efforts to drive us into a Depression may be successful.

In Canada this is already happening and people are returning to work by the hundreds of thousands. Everywhere there is a sense that things are getting better.

Here is one of several scenarios playing out when I enter some stores.

I am accosted by an employee saying I need to wear a mask.

Me: Are you a Registered Nurse?
    Employee: No.
Me: Are you a licensed Doctor?
    Employee: No.
Me: Did you know that you could be fined or jailed for practicing medicine without a license?
Employee: But my boss told me to do this.
Me: So you are saying it is ok to break the law if your boss says so?
    Employee: Yes.
Me: That means if your boss gave you a gun and told you to shoot every tenth person you would do it?
    Employee: Absolutely not!
    Me: Why not?
Employee: Shooting people is against the law.
Me: But you just said it would be ok if your boss told you to break the law.
Employee: People might die if I shoot them.
Me: And people might die when you practice medicine without a license. I see no difference.

I leave the confused employee and enter the store without a mask.

All joking aside, I tend to practice both points of view. (personal freedom and health practices) When I am about my business with friends and business associates I do not wear a mask. But I do happen to live in a touristy town where visitors often outnumber the locals. When I enter a tourist trap such as a boutique, souvenir shop or any place of business where tourists tend to congregate, I do don a mask.

The town where I live has not even had one single case of Covid-19 as to locals, but some of our visitors have landed into our hospital with the virus.

Whoo boy, this poor neurosurgeon is about to get eviscerated by the FakeNews/Democrats/Swamp people as he pushes against the narrative:

Neurosurgeon: Face Masks Pose Serious Risks To Healthy Individuals

    https://principia-scientific.org/neurosurgeon-face-masks-pose-serious-risks-to-healthy-individuals/

Here are a couple of pull quotes from the article:

"By wearing a mask, the exhaled viruses will not be able to escape and will concentrate in the nasal passages, enter the olfactory nerves and travel into the brain."

It then references 17 separate studies on the use of face masks in flu transmission and here is the conclusion:

"...there is no conclusive evidence of their efficiency in controlling flu virus transmission."

Of course, you will not see anything about this in the FakeNews media and this neurosurgeon will be vilified for speaking out after reviewing the scientific studies. Just one more day in the fantastical world of low-information sheeple management.

^^^Said article goes on to say....."They (masks) can make ugly people appear less ugly, and also helps to lessen the effects of bad breath"....You see, wearing masks does have some benefits.;)

Honestly, I am convinced that they can slow the infection rates and make them come down. We should not just throw in the towel but fight back in any way we can. Here in Canada it is slowly but surely becoming the law in public places. I for one have no objection to wearing one. Why would I fight in a juvenile way to something that could help, because it has taken on some kind of a political slant? This us against them in the U.S. has become fanatical, and is not seen anywhere else in the world.

Yes, it is a sad state of affairs and totally understandable at the same time. The Kenyan did tremendous damage to the credibility of government agencies by corrupting the IRS, DOJ, FBI. CIA, State Department, etc., all of which was well-documented and which set the stage for large numbers of the citizenry to not trust them and other such agencies. Then, when the sabotage, hoaxes and more continued even after Trump took office, government agencies and the press lost even more credibility until it is now likely at an all-time low. It is not surprising, therefore, that anything and everything coming from any government agency or the FakeNews media is viewed with contempt and deep suspicion because of what has gone on non-stop for the past 5 or 6 years or more. Now, there are those who would say that is exactly what the Kenyan and his political thugs wanted to happen on their way to "transforming" (aka "destroying") the country and they may be right.

My point, however, is that it does not matter if it was intended or not: virtually every issue now is viewed through a political lens due to the documented bad actions of the Kenyan, the Swamp, the Democrats, and the FakeNews.

While I may not have agreed with all of your post, I most certainly do agree with what I have quoted from it. It absolutely amazes me when I watch the American news outlets at how completely biased they have become. I wonder if Americans ought to start watching the BBC for honest news?

In some areas, the mask DICTATE by the DICTATOR-in-charge allows plastic shields instead of cloth masks. Here is a picture of a multi-purpose shield that will be useful long after this nonsense is over.

    Grrr, picture will not upload.

Just read a FB post from a father whose son is in the military. Him and his buddies were told to get tested for covid. They refused. A week later they all got notices saying that they all tested positive and needed to self-quarantine. They were not amused. The system is either completely broken or, as you all have pointed out, we are dealing with something sinister that wants the false narrative to go on, you know a "the end justifies the means" approach.

You think the coronavirus numbers are cooked up to feed the panic porn narrative? Wait until you see what the FakeNews/Democrats/Swamp do with mail-in ballots for the November elections.

Once again, your posts are prescient and on point! You are performing a great service in alerting the general public to the need for all models of tinfoil hats.

Hey folks, I'm new, just introduced myself in the intro section. I was reading this briefly before I joined and just wanted to put my two cents in here. I think we should all wear masks :)

In Montreal an entrepreneurial guy has installed gumball machines all over the city with masks. You install a twoony ($2 coin) and a plastic orb comes out with a mask inside of it. People often forget to bring their masks or the things break, so the machines are very much being used. I guess this guy is raking $$$ left, right and center.

Perhaps he ought to install gumball machines with tinfoil hats in them too?
