Contest $70 "Brand" Logo Design Contest - Guaranteed Winner!

Thanks for extending the contest, I am working on the design.

 

@johnrossgd's entry: This is probably the best among your entries ... although they are still not sure how they feel about it ... I think it's hard to achieve cohesiveness if there's too much going on ... I'm thinking if we can simplify it a bit / strip it down to just the rooster, the sun and the brand name only (without the stars and baybayin text). Maybe try different font faces / positioning of elements as well ... These are just my suggestions tho ...

@technoguy's entry: Thanks for participating!! It looks good overall specially at first glance, but it's not cohesive enough. It's also too complex to be a logo as well.

@Papacita's entry: The cultural references are pretty spot on and it's unique now too ... but this is not going to work either ... we're looking for something a bit more appealing and professional ...

@getdomain4u's entry: Thanks for joining!! We spent a considerable amount of time yesterday discussing about your entry ... We really liked it ... Personally, I think it is the most cohesive piece, and also the most flexible in terms of "design" among all the entries we've received so far ... It's got timelessness, the "now" (modern) and classic feel to it ... The only issue we have is making sense of some of the parts of the logo ... We're not sure if that's a ribbon in there or what to make of the shape enclosing the sun (or is that part of the ribbon art together with the sun and the middle star?) ...

We definitely want to see more variations of this ... If you would be so kind to make at least one or two more ... All in all, it's pretty close to the current winning logo entry submitted via PM ...

@Ihrwell Yurtas's entry: Still not the logo we're looking for ... They didn't really stand out from the rest ... I also think they lack cohesiveness ...

@Mark Lancaster's entry: Two of the sun rays are longer than the rest which I think you did on purpose ... but it detracts from the overall cohesiveness I think. We're still not sure about the new chicken graphic you used here ... The feedback that I got is that it looks more like a chicken broiler than a fighting rooster ... I hope you can still try something else ... I still think that it's pretty cohesive and solid overall ...

@HShinan's entry: Thanks for joining!! The bottom portion where you have the brand name and domain could be polished ... I think you can lose the stars and try different font faces / positioning of elements ...

@Maykon Felix's entry: We liked the bottom portion better more than the graphic design elements ... You may try a different approach / idea ... Thank you so much for joining!!

@Papacita's entry: Can't go with this either, too complex to be a logo ...

Again, if you haven't read the announcement we made yesterday ... We are keeping this contest open until the 3rd of JULY. We are also upping the winner prize from $50 to $70 ...

Thank you all so much for all your efforts and hard work ... this review is a little different as each one are judged relative to the winning entries ...

The new direction we decided to take is still based on the requirements we have listed in the original post, but is now heavily influenced by the winning entries ...

@Papacita (post #27) -- this is definitely better than your previous entries (cohesiveness improved a bit and it's less complex) but still far from what we're looking for ... and there's still so much going on ... it didn't make the short list

@logos4all -- Thank you again for providing so many concept ideas via PM ... all your entries are all pretty high up in the list ...

@Papacita (post #30) -- far from what we're looking for, and too complex ...

@johnrossgd -- the second one in the middle has potential, but still didn't make the short list ...

@Maykon Felix -- Your take is a bit unique ... they're all pretty cohesive ... they're a bit complex though ... very very good entries overall ... they're relatively high up in the list considering that we have received about 50+ entries now ...

@me2_me2 -- Thank you for joining! It's okay ... just relatively far from what we're looking for ... I think it lacks cohesiveness too ...

@xaralee -- Thanks for joining! We really can't consider this as the PH references are wrong if not inaccurate (e.g. 6 stars, camel) ... The overall look and feel and cohesiveness of the logo is okay, not bad at all ...

@technoguy -- I hate to turn down good entries like this ... it's pretty cohesive overall, but still not what we're looking for ...
