    I have been wondering about this question;
    "Who truly is the king?"

    Mostly among this one's below;
    • Content
    • Link building
    • Promotion
    Though I get view response from it. But am not satisfied with it.

    They said content is the king.

    I found an article from semrush and it says link building is the king.

    A post from twitter says Promotion is the king.

    So here is the question;

    Who truly is the king
    • Content
    • Link building
    • Promotion
    I will be more appreciative if give your why you choose one over others.

    If you have not good contents ..... then how will do quality link building or promotion for site????? ....... Even if you want to post a good post on social media then need good image and contents to attract attentions or users. If you will go for directory submission also then you need quality and weight full description and optimized title otherwise you will not get approval. So you will see that in any field contents plays very important role.

    Content always play role of king because you can do nothing without contents.

    It really depends on the product/service you are offering and the markets that they are targeted to. Content on your website is likely king if you are a blogger trying to build advertising or other such revenues. On the other hand, if you are selling a B2B, seven-figure service to a highly select business clientele, the focus on content is over once a respectable website is put up. Then, it is all marketing and sales. Marketing includes but is much more than just promotion, by the way.

    If the articles you are reading do not emphasize the above fact and, therefore, properly qualify their advice by offering and market, you need to be a bit skeptical as to whether or not the author is as competent as purported.

    I think its promotion, backed by very solid content.
    Nobody's going to see your wonderful content without promotion.
    Likewise, if you are promoting heavily, but your content does not meets user's expectations, then you are wasting money in promotion.

    Link building is a part of promotion, not something separate.
    Focus your link building efforts on getting direct traffic. Link building for SEO will automatically happen in that process.

    Content its the king no matter what .Think that sites are created for content and not for backlinks ,backlinks are very imprtant for promotion etc .Can you imagine a website with no content and only backlinks

    Obviously it's Content. But not just any content, it's content that people NEED and WANT. Successful marketers and entrepreneurs know how to create products or services people need and want.

    Marketing is the king and content is the prime minister.

    Hmmm, let me get this straight. Kings do NOT need prime ministers. Therefore webpages ONLY need marketing and do NOT need content? Can't see how that would work.

    Do you mean that the Queen of the United Kingdom does not need Boris Johnson at all? To me looks like he is very much in charge of the country. Unfortunately.
    Anyway, I think that any king needs someone to be the leader of his government, and that is the prime minister's role.

    "The Prime Minister is the leader of Her Majesty’s Government and is ultimately responsible for the policy and decisions of the government." (https://www.gov.uk/)

    Just because they are commonly used by kings does not mean they are NEEDED.

    Look at a chessboard, two kings and NO prime ministers. If prime ministers were needed by kings, those kings would have prime ministers.

    Was? I saw Elvis live for many years ago in Las Vegas and I think he still is the king. Maybe The Beatles are "The Kings". :D

    Elvis would've been 85 this year. @mmerlinn since you're one of the seniors here, let me introduce you to another senior @videofotografen

    I feel old, but I was only 11 when he died and had never even heard of him!

    I do, however, remember where I was and what I was doing - staying with a school friend whose entire family was bereft and the phone rang nonstop with their extended family ringing. It was incredibly bewildering.

    Umm, I have been a "senior" ALL of my life.

    When someone at a store asks me if I am a "senior", the conversation goes something like this:

    Clerk: Are you a senior?
    Me: Do I look like a senorita?
    Clerk: No.
    Me: Do I look like a senora?
    Clerk: No.
    Me: Then I MUST be a senor!!!

    I recall seeing Elvis live (in Hawaii?) on TV in a comeback concert many years ago. He was slimmed down and seemed to be in good shape after he had gotten really overweight over the previous years. When I was a kid, there would always be an old Elvis movie on TV on Saturday night and I saw all of them. That said, I was not a big fan, it was more that he was ubiquitous because he was "the King."

    Belive it or not but the first concert I visited together with my parents as just a kid was The Beatles live performance in Stockholm, Sweden back in October 1963. It's a matter of fact, Sweden was the first country The Beatles visited after they became famous and released "She Loves You" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand" 7" 45 rpm singles.
    Beside of The Beatles concerts I have also The Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zep and Pink Floyd in very good memory from the 60's and early 70's.
