    I'd say reg fee only. Funny tshirts are a well-established niche and you have really, really big players like redbubble, society6, teespring out there dominating it. Someone might get away with a well-curated affiliate site that uses the designs already on those sites but they'd be mad to pay more than reg fee for it when there would be plenty of other domains that would do just as well.

    Your best bet would be to build that site and sell it as a going concern once you've built up traffic and a sales history.

    I use to run it about 10 years ago and did quite well with it. I've let it sit dormant for awhile and thinking about getting it going again with just affiliate shirts from Amazon, Ali Babs, etc... and see what happens.

    Well iny case i think this will be a good niche as people are interested to buy these shirts as it creates a nice image in your circle of friends etc .
