Google My Business account setup

    Hi everyone,

    What is the best way to set up a Google My Business account (for a Thai restaurant business)? Should this be created and linked up to a personal account (with a person's name details) or can you create an account where, for example, you enter 'first name' = [Business name], 'last name' = [Business name] when entering the details for the account?

    Also, I heard about Manager Accounts... how do you create these? We would like for multiple users to be able to log into the same account easily...

    You can create "My business" page with your personal account. You will be able to add any business details there. Account is needed only for access/management purposes.

    Both ways work fine but if you are looking for a more brand-oriented profile, it is advised that you use an official business account, with an authentic name and logo along with a genuine and exact location as well as it will be used for your business' verification.

    Once your Google My Business account is created, on the main menu, there is a link called users. You just need to go there and to add the people you need to add.
    There 3 different levels : Owner (pincipal), owner and administrator.

    Go on Google Business Page. Register your business name, email, address, phone number, select the right landmark and then verify. Remember Google will sent you code on your business address via post card. After receiving the code, you can confirm your account.

    Google account can be personal because you will get notifications of activities at your business account to that email .... nothing more .... When you will create business listing at Google then google will ask your business name (does not matter you are logging with personal email account or any other business account in gmail), after business name they will ask all details like phone number, location, business type etc. so these details should be of your business.

    If any one search for your business or related search phrases then google will show your business in businesses list. And if any one will give you review or try to contact you then you will receive email to your personal or business account.
