Have AdSenes ever ban publishers for content theft?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by webstop, Dec 20, 2006.

Hi, I wonder if anybody come across the situation that a publisher is terminated from AdSense program due to content theft action on their website?

I am currently facing serious content theft issue, where the guy copied word-by-word, exactly, almost immediately right after I post an article. No contact, no email. Email by whois but no reply yet. So I wonder if it's possible to ask AdSense to act on these guys?

I was just joking. Is there somewhere you can report illegal activities? It wouldent hurt to send google an email.

I think you can file a copyright/DMCA complaint with his host and with Google.. I'm sure that would get his attention.

Thanks for suggestion. I would still like to know if asking adsense to terminate his account is viable option, as this will definitely hit him hard.

The term is copyright, not copywrite.

Copywrite is the act of writing copy.
Copyright is the legal ownership of intellectual property.

Maybe you should ask the owner to link to your site or remove your content from his site / blog

I don't understand how this template works. Is it the one I send to Google to complain that others copied my content? But it seems like a letter to get my adsense working again.

Follow the link, follow the directions. It's easy and effective.

I spend an hour a week picking off "content scrapers".

Just doing my part to keep the scum from abusing the system.
