Godaddy allowed me to use a coupon to register a .99 .com domain name!

    It's been years since I last used a coupon when registering a domain name through Godaddy. A few years ago they changed it to where only new customers could use them. Here's the coupon I used to register my domain for just $.99.

    I tried that coupon I could see the discounted price but it won't let me make the payment. Probably because I am from India and it's applicable only to US customers ?

    Interestingly, GoDaddy has other .com promo codes. For example goflin77 or cjc99com. These codes at the beginning of this year also allowed you to buy a domain for $0.99. But in February, the price rose to $4.99. I thought this applies to absolutely all coupons. But I was wrong. The price of .com with GDD99com1 is still $0.99. Thanks for the promo.

    Godaddy is my favorite domain name provider. Apart from 99 cent domain code, they have a lot of deals and promos for domain names and other services.
