    Now the world is changing and internet marketing its evolving continuous and was working in the past it will not work as usual .So what do you think will be the best strategy of marketing for 2020 ?

    I think best marketing strategy is having dedicated marketing representative targeting social media and related businesses. The other thing is reviews. There is this company called Manta Sleep selling sleeping masks as high as like $30 bucks. They market and target audiences heavily with social media and email blasts.

    @Barb Davids hit it on the head: different strokes for different folks is always the case for marketing. Are you planning to sell a $5 B2C product or a $100K B2B service? Are you trying to get 50,000 uniques a day or 50?

    BTW, I keep thinking that this is a 10-year-old thread due to the title. ;)

    In 2010? I would emphasize heavily on social via Instagram which was launched just in October 6th of 2010. I bet you it will be a big thing.. Then I would prepare myself for Snapchat launched in 2011. You can definitely get a head start on that...

    2010 or 2020, email marketing still rules.
    Conversion rate via email marketing is very high compared to social media marketing.

    You also need to choose social site and content carefully depending on business type, product type, and your marketing goals.

    And by email marketing I am sure JEET means marketing to opted in consumers who have signed up and registered for your emails because they are relevant to their interests and needs. Spamming random emails will absolutely not work in 2020. It wasn't even effective in 2010.

    Email marketing is still highly effective and converts really well if done correctly. You have to watch out not spamming people, and ensuring your email reputation is kept high. But if you can master it, you can really be successful.

    I, for one, am not fond of paid ads on Google. Depending on your industry they can get SUPER expensive. Look for direct ad spots you can buy on smaller websites targeted to your industry.

    My advice will be to combine all these together .

    Sales happen most in email marketing, but you need both paid traffic and social media to get people into your email list where they real magic is going to happen.

    In your email you can build the KLT which make sales very much easy.

    Take these following steps,

    Define your market
    Where they congregate online
    Use both paid traffic and social media organic to get them into your list
    Build the KLT using your email and sales to them using email .

    Is just that simple
