I don't use Twitter much; so I am still figuring out things, as I go along. I went into my profile, but nowhere do I see on whose page I had tweeted. All I see is my name and my handle all the way down. For eg: Bahala Tharle @BahalaTharle · Nov 29 <Content> Bahala Tharle @BahalaTharle · Nov 29 <Content> ... and so on all the way down (please see attached). Can someone please tell me what I am missing? I would like to see whom I directed the tweets to. TIA.
You don't tweet on people's pages. If you want to draw someone's attention to a specific tweet you need to use hashtags and/or tag their account like this: Twitter adds people in behind the scenes for replies but for brand new tweets you need to tag the other person.
Scroll down to tweet privacy and make sure it is unchecked. If this is checked, your (future) tweets will not be available publicly. Tweets posted previously may still be publicly visible in some places. If you don't get any results, your account is not showing up in search.
You are tweeting to those who are following you, everyone of them. If you want to draw attention of a particular twitter user, who is not following you, then you need to mention their twitter handle in your tweet, like how @sarahk showed. Then they will see your tweet, and also a notification in their account.
