Yeah. I'll have to agree with mmerlinn on this one. I submit that to qualify as royalty the content must be valuable to the viewer. But to flatly state that content is not king is buffalo chips.

Content still is the king. But, you need to know how you are marketing your content. Content can be a book or bottle or anything. Are you having that kind of skill that you can convince the individual or your content having the depth to convince its audience? You know the answer better then me.

You can have letter-perfect SEO and lots of powerful links to your website. But even if large numbers of people arrive at your website, if your content is not useful — or even worse, if it's worthless — your website efforts will end in failure.

I think I'm like most surfers. All it takes is the first paragraph or two to decide if a webpage is worth staying on, or if I should move on. And that determination is almost always an evaluation of the content (including grammar, spelling, skillful use of the language, expertise in the subject area, and more).

Always believe on a proven method and by not relying on other people's work. Its an old saying of content is king, its not just creating content but crafting the information with emotion in which will touch your target users will consider as supreme content for their needs because its a quality source of information.

I would disagree and say content is still king, however content alone will get you a successful site.

Content regards product/services pages is often the difference between a visitor liking or disliking, trusting or not trusting your offer.

Content regards building key search phases your site is visible for, content regards building natural links to your site as it has news worthy useful content.

It depends on the niche. Some businesses can get away with just a few pages of content because their competitors aren't doing much more. Other businesses have to create a team to keep up with the content demand in their industry. Competitive analysis will tell you what you need to know.

Its more about the type of content and how to leverage it. I sure can do more with content than without.
