    It's effective when you have a list from your own customer base. Otherwise it will be a hit or miss type of thing. Mostly miss.

    It works if you are sending emails to a targeted list. Something sent to random people will get deleted quickly, and might even bring spam complaints to your webhost...

    By the way, even in case of targeted list, response is about 2% to 5% generally.

    Email is a low cost form of direct marketing Its highly targeted it is better way to intereact with people and deliver Targeted messages which customer they want to message and targeted to those people who want to buy product easily deliver the message it also generate revenue it is very simple to get started and you can also track with the software and many deals and offers are sent with their friends so it is very essential in our daily use

    A webinar JV broker I know, posted a few weeks ago about a new webinar he'd got promoted by some of the list-owners he knows.

    That brand-new webinar made a million dollars of sales, in 70 days. And ALL of that was by email marketing (with 50% commissions to the list-owners who sent the emails promoting the webinar)! So yes, email marketing certainly CAN be very effective.

    But like a lot of things, there are a few people making big money, some people making a little money here and there, and a lot of people failing at it!

    Email marketing can include things like a business trying to get new customers or clients by emailing prospects (i.e. people who might be interested in the products or services). One of the common mistakes when doing this is to try to give too much details in the initial email. The aim of the initial email should be to get a reply. That's all. So the initial email should usually be as short as possible, just a couple of sentences or so . . . just enough to arouse curiosity and get a reply. Then the next email can get into a little bit more detail, and so on.

    Email marketing can also include building a list of people interested in a specific subject (such as by giving them a free gift in exchange for subscribing), then emailing them valuable content, and product or service recommendations, relevant to that subject. For non-webinar affiliate sales from a mailing-list in the online business niche, each subscriber might generate about $1 per month. With webinars (because they give valuable free information first, and so sell far more effectively), that figure can be around $4 per subscriber per month, although one expert I know claims $11.25 per subscriber per month from his list. And with some lists in this niche having over a million subscribers, big money is certainly being made doing this (which is one of the reasons I am building a list in this niche, myself!).

    So yes, email marketing can be VERY effective, if done really well.

    Final hint . . . the usual newbies mistake with email marketing is to not do much research, send a far-from-optimum email to a few people, get little or no results, then quit and go onto a different method. A "secret" to effective email marketing is that even the experts do a LOT of testing, such as different subject lines, different body text, sending on different days, at different times etc. before they start getting good results. So I recommend doing lots of learning from real experts first, and then doing a lot of realistic testing. If you're doing that and still getting poor results, ask specific questions on a forum like this and you will get help!
