    John Mueller said, "if you are looking for a ranking boost by having an RSS feed, that’s not going to happen." He added "there’s no direct ranking boost for the website itself" for having an RSS feed.

    So forget RSS, and focus more on user engagement and whitehat SEO

    You don't need RSS feeds to rank your home page but use your content within the home page to widen its influence through different platforms so that it can reach your target audience.
