Thank you for your design, @falloutvic, and for showing us multiple treatments. We appreciate the simplicity of this design. We are, however, hoping for an icon or mark that suggests both website navigation and exploration/travel.

 

The first one (with the stacked icon) is great – thank you, @pehulz.

Note: As soon I finish leaving feedback for all posted designs, I'll post general feedback for everyone around the font choices. Please look for that if you decide to do another version.

 

^ This one is genius. Thank you, @puttu. I really like its simplicity, clarity and how you cleverly incorporated the compass arrow.

The second option isn't as strong for me, because it's more complex and relies on two colors.

The third option has the same weakness (for us) I've commented on in others' designs: The icon is too generic to be recognizable as our mark if it's used alone, and it suggests map navigation more strongly than websites.

After reviewing everything so far, the font treatments stood out as something that (for me) really added to or detracted from the mark. So I wanted to provide general feedback on fonts for any future entries.

• Fonts that I thought worked the best were all sans-serif.
• I liked the designs best that used uppercase rather than mixed case. It feels simpler and more minimalistic.
• If one word is treated differently or emphasized, it should be "FEARLESS." That's because we work hard to take the headaches out of our clients' websites so they won't fear blogging or logging in. The word does not need to be emphasized, however emphasizing "venture" (e.g., with larger font, bold style) isn't as appropriate.

 

Another simple concept, feedback is appreciated.

@puttu – Would it work to extend the width of "A FEARLESS VENTURE" to match the width of the logo, with tracking or a larger font size?
