Best logos are made using vector graphics so that when they are re-scaled the visual quality remains high.
Because of this, Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw are the two of my best choices, though in many cases I do import the vector logo (from a .EPS file) into Photoshop and add layer styles if needed (drop shadow, bewel, transparency). Photoshop treats the imported layer as a smart object so it remains crisp and looks nice no matter how much I scale it.

Adobe Illustrator is typically used for creating logos, although it might be a little tough to learn if you have no experience with it

I would say Illustrator is my first choice. It IS possible in PS but I'm already so used to the Illustrator tools...

Yes, the same for me. Usually, I just use one Illustrator tutorial of a huge set published online (here, for example - https://www.format.com/magazine/resources/design/adobe-illustrator-tutorials) either for logo or for something else.

mainly use Photoshop, simply because I could never learn Illustrator properly, but I think Illustrator is probably better if you take time to learn it

Since vector images are usually on high demand, hence Adobe Illustrator should be the best bet. You can still do it online, using Canva.

Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw have the best software.
Also, if you have an Ipad, you can try out apps like Procreate, Vectornator, Adobe Draw

Illustrator is the best I know of. The problem with using programs like GIMP is that you can't create vector images so your very limited by the resolution of the logo you create.Vector images can be scaled up or down or down to any size without causing a blurry or pixelated look, and are thereby ideal for logos that may be blown up to the size of a billboard or shrunk down to be put on a website.

Adobe Illustrator seems to be the way to go. I tend to stick with Photoshop but if a logo is going to be used in print it is always best to use a vector program. Photoshop is good for creating logos if they are only going to be used on websites.
